Our Goals

Our overarching goal is to educate Citizens about voting rights, and to enable voting accessibility to all eligible voters.

We define success as each Citizen who desires to vote has the access and opportunity to vote, and for all Citizens to have awareness of the history of voting rights.

Election Denial

Since the 2020 US Federal Election, officials aligned with President Trump have coordinated to change current voting procedures at the State level, initiated partisan investigations and lawsuits that have been based on rumor and innuendo, and have supported candidates who share the same baseless beliefs to positions of power over our future elections.

This partisan effort has resulted in the overturning of exactly zero election results, indicating that the effort is solely partisan spin, and nothing more.

We believe future elections should be free of the impact of unsubstantiated partisan concerns, and protected from the influence of officials who act upon innuendo and rumor instead of evidence and fact.

Voting Restrictions

Similarly, since the 2020 US Federal Election, these same officials aligned with President Trump have sought to limit access to Voting, and have focused these efforts in communities of color.

According to the Brennan Center, since the beginning of 2021 lawmakers have passed at least 42 restrictive voting laws in 21 states. Among those laws, 33 contain at least one restrictive provision that is in effect for the midterms in 20 states.

We believe our future elections should be accessed with equal opportunity and ease across every demographic and geography.

We Support

Veterans for Voting Rights supports all Officials, Efforts, and Organizations who encourage equitable access to Voting.
